This fukusa seems to be from late Edo Period( 1603-1867).
It has very bold crane and bamboo motifs, which is embroidery elaborately. Please enjoy its wonderful embroidery work with more photos.
Textile is navy(dark near black) shusu silk, and lined with dyed pattern cotton.
Unfortunately it has tears and frays. We can not say it is in very good condition, but it is still very valuable piece for its fantastic Edo embroidery.
