This is a very rare boy's
miyamairi kimono from around early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989), just before or during WWII.
Textile is plain silk, and tank and soldier are dyed with
yuzen technique.
It might be because the war age,
yuzen work is not detailed and colors are also not enough.
In addition, five kamon parts are all torn ( dyestuff of this circle part may be not good one ).
We can feel it must be the made in the age of necessity.
However, semamori threads ( this thread is added to hope boy's safe ) remains steady. We can know genuine mother's mind from this threads.
Because of the tears in the five kamon part, we can not say it is in very good condition. However, very valuable piece!
