This kimono is from around late Edo Period( 1603-1867).
Textile is very soft touch hand spun cotton and hand woven cotton, and nandina motif is dyed with katazome technique elaborately. Its design is wonderful!
It is lined with natural ai cotto( also hand spun/woven excellent cotton).
It has some flaws as photos show. Stains and discoloration are prominent. We can not say it is in very good condition, but it is still very charming piece for its fantastic design.
