This is a contemporary nagoya obi - it has sophisticated pine grove and mountain motif, which is woven with tsume tsuzure technique. One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and comparatively stiff touch of tsume tsuzure silk.
It is not used. It has a small stain in the wrong side of wide part. (Snags are VERY small and they can not be said as flaws.) As a whole it is almost in excellent condition.
