This is a rare Kurume kasuri - it has wonderful kanji characters and geometric pattern, which is woven with double ikat technique elaborately.
'Amagi kasuri Ya'(Amagi kasuri Store), 'Asakura-bu Men'(Asakura Cotton) and 'Sasami Syouten'(Sasami Store) can be read.
It seemed to be used as futon cover, but it might be used as store's nore.
Textile is medium thick and soft cotton, and has beautiful deep natural ai color.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
