This is a rare maiko's susohiki from around Taisho period(1912-1925).
It has charming otafuku and flowers motifs, which are dyed colorfully in the blue background.
Susohiki lieterally means `trail the skirt' and this particular kimono is much longer than other kimono and the bottom is padded. This is worn to do the elegant dance with a folding fan in the Japanese style drawing room.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has some flaws as photos show(discoloration is slight), but as a whole it is in very good condition.
