This kimono is from around early Meiji period(1868-1912).
Textile seems to be hand spun cotton, and has soft and comfortable touch.
It was considered to be dyed with natural
ai in Tohoku district - paulownia motif is dyed elaborately with
shibori technique.
Its design and deep natural
ai colors are incredibly beautiful!
Please enjoy its wonderful details with more photos.
It has some slight flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
