This is a fabulous muso haori from around Taisho period(1912-1925).
'Muso' means 'outside and inside are made of a series of a fabric'. Adding pattern in the inside part is more fiddly than normal haori, so 'muso' haori is more valuable and expensive than usual haori.
This piece is made of ro, summer sheer silk, and artistic maple leaf and lantern are dyed with
yuzen technique. Many parts are added fine embroidery.
Its design is slightly seen from outside, which is the special aesthetic feeling of Japan.
Bodice is gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has very slight discoloration and some small stains, but as a whole it is nearly in excellent condition.
