This is a vintage Kaga Noren.
In the Kanagawa district, brides made and brought them to the husband's families. In the olden time, brides used to live with husband's families. They put this Kaga Noren at the door of their rooms - only beyond the Kaga Noren, couples were allowed to have their private time.
This piece is from pre WWII, and made of thin plain silk. Kamon and auspicious picture is dyed colorfully.
It has some flaws as photos show. However, flaws are small and they are not disturbing. As a whole it is very beautiful piece!
