This is a fabulous black uchikake from around Taisho period(1912-1925).
It is made of plain silk, and has appealing yuzen dyed work - royal cart, curtain('maku'), birds and flowers are dyed colorfully. Many parts are added embroidery.
It has slight flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this fabulous Taisho uchikake!
