This fukuro obi has colorful mandarin duck and 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) motif in two parts, which is woven with elaborate tsume tsuzure technique.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and comparatively stiff touch of tsume tsuzure silk.
Unfortunately it has many stains.
