This is a very rare nagoya obi from during or before WWII.
Women cooperated the war, for example, when the soldiers went to war, they sent them off with wearing this kind of obi. This obi has navy theme design - anchor, cherry blossom and military medal motifs are dyed on the plain silk.
They had to be willing to send their husbands and sons ---
