This is a
karinui fabric of haori. It is roughly sewn to haori shape.
It has unique geometric, seigaiha and flower pattern, which is dyed with
shibori technique.
shibori is Japanese tie dyeing technique, and it gives the textile very unique texture.
Its fabric shrinks because of the tie-dyed technique, but it has enough length for making haori after stretching.
You can soak in water and stretch by hand as it dries. From time to time you can just pull the fabric which is drying.
It has some patinas, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
