This is a rare men's haori made of Kurume kasuri - its snow like pattern is called 'yukinko', which was elaborately hand sewn. Textile has soft touch.
This piece is very special for its lining design - battle plane and ship are dyed as if its pattern is woven ( this technique is called 'niko-niko'). Its textile is cotton.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
This piece is strongly reflected by the atmosphere of war time.
