This is an antique fukusa from Meiji period(1868-1912). It has sophisticated design - three cranes have 'shou-chiku-bai'(pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom) .
It is made of navy shusu silk, and cranes are embroidered elaborately with thin threads.
It is lined with chirimen(crepe) silk.
One crane's dark brown part is missing. Another crane lost black parts partly. It has some other flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
