This nagoya obi has exotic bamboo pattern, which is woven with tsume tsuzure technique. One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and comparatively stiff touch of tsume tsuzure silk.
This piece has several small stains in the wide part, and a folding line and some stains in the narrow part. (Snags in the wrong side is not problem when it is tied.)
As a whole it is in very good condition.
