This fukusa is made of delicate chirimen(crepe) silk, and has unique dyed pattern - military men, cherry blossom and kimono lady ( they are riding horses!) motifs are dyed elegantly.
It seemed to be remade of juban or some kimonos.
From the design, it is considered to be from around Meiji period(1868-1912).
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
