This is a kimono silk fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi has exotic flying crane and cloud motifs, which are dyed and embroidered.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has some flaws as photos show. It must be an excellent material for your handicraft!
