This is a rare black susohiki kimono from pre WWII.
Susohiki lieterally means `trail the skirt' and this particular kimono is much longer than other kimono. This is worn to do the elegant dance with a folding fan in the Japanese style drawing room.
This piece was worn by geisha, and kamon of okiya is dyed out.
It has unique design - people in Edo Period( 1603-1867) are dancing! Some parts are added embroidery.
Textile is kinsha(fine crepe) silk, and has soft touch.
It has some flaws as photos show(discoloration of black color is slight), but as a whole it is in very good condition.
