This fukusa is from Meiji period(1868-1912) and has unique 'Shojo'(imaginary animals in old China, who loves sake) motif, which is elaborately embroidered!
Please enjoy its wonderful embroidery details with more photos.
Textile is navy shusu silk, and lined with chirimen(crepe) silk.
Threads of two parts ( brown
hakama part and cup part) are missing. It also has some other flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
