This is a contemporary
nagoya obi with wonderful peony and other flowers pattern, which is woven with
tsume tsuzure technique. One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and comparatively stiff touch of
tsume tsuzure silk.
It has a comparatively prominent folding line and some slight or small stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
