This is a rare funeral kimono - kazuki. It is worn by covering one's head. Because of its wearing way, the neck it different from other kimono.
That is the costume for lamenting at the funeral.
Exotic bamboo motif is hand painted with yuzen technique.
Textile is transparent ro silk and not lined.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
