This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women. This piece has rich 'ryozuma'(mirror image) pattern, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
This piece has wonderful wave, pine tree, fan, chrysanthemum and other traditional motifs, which is dyed with yuzen technique.
It has some stains, and the black color is slightly discolored. Kinkoma embroidery is coming off in couple of parts. Howenver as a whole it is in very good condition.
