This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women. This piece has rich 'ryozuma'(mirror image) pattern, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Various traditional motifs - takara, peach(unique!), wave and flowers are dyed colorfully, and some parts are added embroidery.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has some stains and patinas, and the black color is slightly discolored. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
