This vintage maru obi has wonderful dyed pattern in both sides - 'kicho'( partition used by noble people in ancient days), 'misu' ( bamboo curtain), boat and flowers can be found in the black background.
Couple of parts in both sides are added embroidery.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has slight patinas in the beige parts. It also has frays and smudges in the corners/hems, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
