This vintage obi is made of black shusu silk, and has wonderful 'tsuba'( guard of katana ) and tassel motif in two parts ( one part is in one end and only has tassel motif).
Tsuba part is made of 'rozashi' embroidery work ( it is embroidered on meshi fabric and put and sewn to obi ), and tassel part is embroidered.

It has frays in the corners, but as a whole it is nearly in excellent condition.
