This box is made of paper and outside is covered with delicate chirimen silk fabrics. Kiribame(patchwork) and embroidery is wonderful!
Clamshell shape is cute and very Japanese!
It has a tear of fabrics in the side part. It also has couple of very small holes in the lid part. There are slight smudges at places. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
