This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women. This piece is from pre WWII, and has sophisticated 'ryozuma' ( mirror image design, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII) pattern. Royal cart, cherry blossom, bamboo, maple leaf and pine tree motifs are dyed with yuzen technique.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
Its black color is slightly discolored. There are some other flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
