This is a FABULOUS Geisya's susohiki kimono from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
This piece has dramatic 'Fujimusume'(wisteria girl) motif, which is dyed with yuzen technique.
Its yuzen work is charming and artistic!
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It is not lined('hitoe').
Susohiki literally means 'trail the skirt' and it was worn to do the elegant dance with a folding fan in the Japanese style drawing room. It has very long length and eye-catching design.
Kamon of okiya(geisha's house) is added.
Black color is slightly discolored and it has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
*Approx background color - black
Softness ( Exceptionally Soft, □ Soft, Medium, Comparatively Stiff, Stiff )
