This large fukusa is from ending Edo Period( 1603-1867) or Meiji period(1868-1912).
It has bold and vivid crane motif, which is fully embroidered elaborately. Eyes are made of glass.

Textile is navy shusu silk, and lined with chirimen silk.
It has several snags ( or uneven spots of embroidery ). 'Tear' in the figure is 'detaching of thick embroidery thread' ( sorry not tear).
Lining has stains, hole and discoloration.
As a whole it is in very good condition.
