This is a kurotomesode, most formal kimono for married women. This piece is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989), and made of ro, summer sheer silk.
It has elegant flowers and 'katawaguruma' ( wheels of royal cart, which are stored in the stream to avoid drying ) motif, which is dyed with yuzen technique colorfully. Please enjoy its wonderful details with more photos.
Black color is discolored comparatively prominently. There are some stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
