This is a vintage uchishiki, fabric for Buddhist altar.
It has exotic peony motif, which is elaborately embroidered with kinkoma technique.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch. It is lined with cotton.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
