This is a vintage large uchishiki, fabric for Buddhist altar.
This piece is made of tasteful chrysanthemum pattern silk fabric, which is elaborately woven.
Large paulownia motif is made of patchwork and embroidery.
It has some flaws as photos show( paulownia part has patinas, there are slight smudges in the woven pattern fabric part, and lining fabric has stains and smudges), but as a whole it is in very good condition.
