This is a fabulous kesa, monk's gown from pre WWII.
It has luxurious peacock, phoenix, crane and flowers pattern, which is woven boldly and colorfully.
Please enjoy its wonderful details with more photos.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has tears mainly near the hems. It also has many stains, frays and stitches are coming loose in a part.
However, it is still very beautiful piece!
