This is a appealing purple haori from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has bold 'yukiwa'(snow crystal) and flowers motif, which is dyed with yuzen and shibori technique.
Shibori is Japanese tie dyeing technique, and it gives the textile very unique texture.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has elegant flowers circle pattern.
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has slight smudges and stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
