This is a fabulous hitoe(not lined) haori from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). It has bold heron motif, which is dyed vividly. In addition, whirl and fish motifs are woven urushi coated threads elaborately! Please enjoy its wonderful details with more photos. Textile has soft and light touch. It has slight discoloration and some stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition. We highly recommend this wonderful Taisho blue haori! *Approx background color - HTML code ( 7FA1ED)
