This black haori is from pre WWII and has fabulous gagaku(Japanese traditional dance and instruments) motifs, which are dyed colorfully in the black background.
In many parts, it also has fantastic embroidery work - please check its incredibly fine embroidery details with more photos.
Textile is rinzu, silk with damask effect, and has bold clam shell pattern.
It has couple of prominent stains( triangle marks in the figure ) and some other flaws. However as a whole it is in very good condition.
