This is a sakiori hanhaba fabric. Sakiori is a traditional Japanese technique of rag weaving.The rag strips are cut finely and woven into a tweed-like fabric.
This piece has colorful check pattern.
Main textile seems to be cotton.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
