This is a FABULOUS maru obi from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has bold crane, 'tsuzumi'(Japanese hand drum), 'koto'(Japanese harp) and other motifs are woven boldly. Lots of gold threads are used, and this piece has exceptionally gorgeous atmosphere.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has a slight folding line and some stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
