This is an vintage uchishiki, fabric for Buddhist altar.
It has bold chrysanthemum pattern, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite silk, and lined with cotton.
Right side has tears along the center folding line( approx 1/2 of width, but tears will increase in future).
There are several stains and a small hole. Wrong side has many stains and smudges.
