This maru obi is from Meiji period(1868-1912), and has charming 'hyakuninisshu'(Japanese card game) pattern, which is woven elaborately. Please enjoy its wonderful details with more photos.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
Unfortunately it has large tears in the hem. There also are some stain, frays and folding lines.
We can not say it is in very good condition, but it is still very charming piece for its fantastic design.
