This black haori is from pre WWII, and has bold peony and chrysanthemum pattern, which is woven with urushi coated threads.
What a gorgeous and exotic haori this piece is!
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
Tie and lining has patinas, and there is a hole in the lining. As a whole it is in very good condition.
