This black nagoya obi is made of shusu ( jinken ), and has appealing umbrella and cherry blossom motifs, which are elaborately embroidered. Please enjoy its wonderful embroidery details with more photos.
Seam of embroidery of narrow part is coming off. There are some snags, stains and patinas. The other side of wide part has many frays and hems are fully torn ( so there are many tears in the side hems of wide part in the wrong side). We can not say it is in very good condition, but it is still very charming piece for its fantastic design.
