This is a fabulous silk maru obi from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It has bold circle cranes pattern, which is woven colorfully. Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch.
It has slight patinas, stains and snags. A part in the figure is uneven line of weaving(not cut or repaired line).
As a whole it is in very good condition.
*Approx background color - very pale gray almost ivory
