This is a sakiori hanhaba obi. Sakiori is a traditional Japanese technique of rag weaving.The rag
strips are cut finely and woven into a tweed-like fabric.
This piece has tasteful stripe pattern. ( Middle part and one end are almost solid, and two kinds of stripes are woven).
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
