This is a beautiful vintage sashiko rug.
Both sides are made of 'shima'(stripe) pattern cotton, and very fine sashiko stitches are done elaborately all over it!
Both sides have wonderful texture!
It has some slight flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
