This is a beautiful vintage sashiko rug.
A side is made of check pattern cotton and lined with shima(stripe) and solid cotton, and very fine sashiko stitches are done elaborately all over it!
Please check its wonderful sashiko details with more photos.
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
