This is a vintage maru obi made of ro, summer sheer silk. It has colorful 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) pattern, which is woven elaborately.
It has blank part same as fukuro obi ( approx 60% of both sides are patterned).
It has some flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
*Approx background color - slightly grayish ivory
