This haori is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989). This piece has fantastic design - paulownia and characters('kokonoeni' it seems to be the part of poem) are colorfully dyed. Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII. Lining has cute female Daruma motif pattern. It has full of fantastic old fashioned taste! Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft touch. It has some flaws as photos show, but they are not disturbing. As a whole it is in very good condition. We highly recommend this cute vintage haori! *Approx background color - HTML code ( DD3141)
