This maru obi is from Taisho period(1912-1925) or early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989).
It is made of plain silk, and both sides have wonderful dyed pattern - one side has 'torikabuto'(gagaku hat) and flowers, and another side has butterfly and flowers pattern. Please enjoy its wonderful details with more photos.
Textile has soft and smooth touch.
It has some stains, smudges, frays and a slight folding line. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
